Hours of Operation

Penn’s Network Operations Center is responsible for the operation of the MAGPI NOC and the network services provided to its Members. The NOC handles all interaction with the GR-NOC and any ISP NOC communications for troubleshooting and changes to routing information. The Network Operations Center is manned Monday through Friday 6:00am to 9:00pm, and via on-call during off hours. Maintenance/Outage Periods

Standing Maintenance Window (Upgrades and Maintenance) MAGPI’s standard maintenance window for upgrades and maintenance to the network is Tuesday mornings from 5:00am to 7:00am. The actual start and duration of this period may vary due to the complexity of a particular need and whether MAGPI Network Operations can be sustained until the next standing maintenance window.

Other maintenance windows may be used depending on the scheduling needs presented by a MAGPI Member. These outages may not be globally announced if they are small in scale or considered local to a MAGPI Member.
