Liz Scott, Alex Scott's mother, to speak during Alex's Virtual Lemonade Stand Kick-Off Virtual Spirt Festival Videoconference!

As part of the Alex's Virtual Lemonade Stand Kick-Off Virtual Spirt Festival on April 8, 2008, Liz Scott will address student participants from Lower Merion School District, Pennsylvania.

About Liz Scott:

Liz Scott is the Vice President of Development for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. She is the proud mother of Patrick, Eddie, Joey, and Alexandra Scott, founder of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Liz supports Alex’s fundraising efforts in every way, committed to helping her achieve her goals. She has built a strong network of volunteers and supporters through her frequent correspondence, emails, phone calls, and appearances at events. Liz has become a recognized advocate for childhood cancer research and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation through interviews on national and local television programs. In addition, she communicates frequently with sponsors and media contacts, facilitates and attends numerous fundraising events for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and speaks to organizations and student groups of all ages weekly. Liz and her husband, Jay, are also the authors of the illustrated children’s book entitled Alex and The Amazing Lemonade Stand.
