MAGPI has partnered with Tom Becker of the Future Earth Institute to bring this unique series of earth and space science professional development seminars to our members. This series is designed for all upper high school educators, regardless of the subject matter they teach.

We live in a space age that goes far beyond newspaper headlines; an unseen world of super science that carries science, geography, English composition and even language to new levels. This seminar series will help educators extend their knowledge of general space technology education and, in particular, the role of remote sensing in gathering scientific data.

While we encourage interested educators to take all three seminars in the order in which they are offered, educators need only sign up for the seminars in which they are interested.

All seminars are provided free of charge to the MAGPI K20 community.

Our planet is a very complex system of many moving parts all tightly related to one another. How does human intervention enter into "Mother Nature's" equation? What does it mean for our children and grandchildren? The answer may be global warming ... but what is the question? Join this interactive presentation and discussion.
